An independent hotel and member of the family group The Gate Collection, the Hotel du Collectioneur***** offers a unique Art Deco spirit in Paris, close to the very chic Parc Monceau and the Arc de Triomphe.

We are looking for an M/F Kitchen Apprentice to join our teams:

Under the responsibility of the executive chef, his deputies and the heads of party, the missions of the apprentice are as follows:

  • Food preparation : Prepare and cut the ingredients, measure and mix the elements needed for the recipes under the supervision of the chef.
  • Cooking aid: Assist chefs in cooking and presenting dishes according to established standards and recipes.
  • Hygiene and cleanliness: Maintain hygiene and food safety standards, clean equipment, utensils, and work areas in accordance with regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Help manage inventory levels by verifying supplies and informing superiors of supply requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth coordination in the kitchen.
  • Compliance with standards: Respect the hotel's quality standards and contribute to maintaining the establishment's gastronomic reputation

Profile sought:

  • A first experience or an internship in cooking is appreciated
  • Motivation, rigor and a desire to learn are essential to succeed in this position.
  • Knowledge of the basics of cooking techniques.
  • Good team spirit and ability to adapt to a dynamic environment.
  • Sense of responsibility and compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.
  • Ongoing training in the field of cooking (CAP, Bac Pro or equivalent).
