JOB DESCRIPTION:

Under the responsibility of the executive chef, his assistants and the chefs de partie, the missions of the kitchen clerk are as follows:

  • Food preparation : Prepare and cut the ingredients, measure and mix the elements needed for the recipes under the supervision of the chef.
  • Cooking aid: Assist chefs in cooking and presenting dishes according to established standards and recipes.
  • Hygiene and cleanliness: Maintain hygiene and food safety standards, clean equipment, utensils, and work areas in accordance with regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Help manage inventory levels by verifying supplies and informing superiors of supply requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth coordination in the kitchen.
  • Compliance with standards: Respect the hotel's quality standards and contribute to maintaining the establishment's gastronomic reputation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in similar positions
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards

Qualifications:

  • Cooking degree required.
